Head of the Foreign Committee of the Jordanian House of Representatives: Gaza tragedy exceeds the perceptions of the human mind – the seventh day

Dina Al -Bashir, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Jordanian House of Representatives, warned against the continued brutal attacks of Israel, as it constitutes a direct threat to regional security and stability, and may lead to an unprecedented escalation in the region, stressing the need to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip permanently.

Dina Al -Bashir said, during her dialogue with the program “From Egypt” broadcast on the “Cairo News” channel, that there were signs of moving to a second stage of the armistice agreement, but the size of the tragedy that took place exceeded what can be taken from the human mind, warning against returning to the zero point with partial ceasefire negotiations.

Al -Bashir explained that there is an international movement led by Egypt, Jordan and the Arab countries in order to strictly and seriously to stop the aggression on a sector, and to curb this aggression, whether through diplomatic moves or by pressure on the international community to take a more firm position towards Israeli violations.
It also called for the need for the United States to adhere to the non -support of Israeli policies that fuel the conflict and increase the suffering of the Palestinian people, stressing that the American position should be more balanced in order to achieve security and stability in the region.

In this context, the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee called for the necessity of activating the role of Arab parliaments and legislative institutions in pressure on governments to take more firm positions, in addition to coordination with the foreign ministries to hold serious negotiations that put an end to this worsening crisis.

She also stressed that the continuation of the Israeli aggression without a deterrent from the international community will lead to more tensions and explosions in the region, which makes it necessary to move quickly at all political and diplomatic levels to stop this dangerous escalation and end the suffering of the Palestinian people.
