The discussions focused on five major priorities, including enhancing coordination between all private envoys, preparing a road map to implement the Jeddah Declaration, enhancing dealing with Sudanese civil society, harmonizing efforts on accountability, and promoting humanitarian diplomacy to support those affected by the conflict.

The meeting emphasized that achieving peace in Sudan requires continuous participation and long -term realistic mediation strategy.

The envoys and private representatives reaffirmed their commitment to work closely with the authority and the owners of the Sudanese interests to maintain dialogue, build confidence, and ensure a credible peace process.

Yaqoub stressed that “finding” will continue to work without facilitating the diplomatic solutions that protect the sovereignty of the Sudanese people and their aspirations, noting that it is what remains sticking to the support of Sudan until a comprehensive and permanent peaceful settlement is achieved.

Yaqoub pointed out: “The authority and its partners will refine the methodology of cooperation and the strategy of participation to advance tangible progress, and the results of this meeting will constitute ongoing mediation efforts and contribute to a more coordinated international response to the Sudan crisis.”
