The Somali President confirms the full support of the state of the front lines soldiers against terrorism – the seventh day

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud affirmed the full support of the state for the soldiers stationed in the front lines against terrorism and urged them to continue efforts until the liberation of all the remaining areas.

The Somali News Agency “Souna” said today, Wednesday, that in the context of his field efforts to support military operations against terrorism, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud arrived at the front fronts, where he spent his night between the forces stationed on the fighting lines, and held a meeting with the leadership of the state of Hirchbili and army officers who are leading the liberation operations.

She added that the Somali President praised the courage shown by the Somali armed forces, noting that the army continues to destroy the dens of militants and achieve successive victories in the battlefield, and stressed that the state is committed to providing all forms of military and logistical support to the forces to continue their operations against terrorism.

This visit comes as part of an expanded field tour by the Somali President to follow up the progress of military operations, where he has previously arrived in the city of “Maqoukouri” in Hiran Governorate, and the strategic city of “Aden” in the strategic province of Shabili, to support the armed forces and enhance efforts to eradicate terrorism from the country.

A related context, the Somali News Agency “Souna” stated that targeting the procession of Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud met wide condemnation from the Gulf states and the Arab countries, along with the Arab parliament, amid assurances of solidarity with Somalia in the face of terrorism.

She pointed to the condemnation of the Arab Parliament Speaker Muhammad bin Ahmed Al -Yamahi, the incident, confirming the solidarity of Parliament with Somalia in this accurate circumstance, and rejecting all forms of terrorism that aims to destabilize the region.

She added that these extensive condemnations reflect a unified Arab position against terrorism, at a time when Somalia needs more support to face security challenges and enhance its stability.
