The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the attempt to assassinate Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, in the capital, Mogadishu.
The spokesperson for the ministry confirmed Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al -Qudah, the Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation of all forms of political violence, especially those targeting public and political figures.

In a statement, the judges expressed the Kingdom’s solidarity, and its full standing with the Republic of Somalia and the Somali President and his family as a result of this unfortunate incident.
