The occupation continues its aggression against Tulkarm and its camps, amid demolition of homes and forced displacement – the seventh day

The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 52nd day in a row, and on Nour Shams camp for the 39th day, as the raids and demolition operations intensified, and the residents were forced to leave their homes by force, amid a suffocating siege and increasing military reinforcements.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) stated that during the past few days, Tulkarm camp has witnessed a great movement of displacement of the remaining residents of its lanes; After being forced by the occupation forces to leave with threats and intimidation, until the camp becomes almost empty of its residents after displacement of more than 12 thousand refugees from it..Ion is that the occupation soldiers also raided the empty houses of its residents and turning them into military barracks and places to deploy snipers in addition to raiding shops, institutions, mosques, sabotage and theft of their holdings.

In Nour Shams Camp, the occupation bulldozers continued to demolish homes and destroy the infrastructure, as well as forced a number of residents on the western outskirts of it to evacuate their homes amid indications of the occupation’s intention to convert the area into a military barrack.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the camp is exposed to daily bulldozing and demolitions targeting homes, alleys and infrastructure, which led to the destruction of its features completely and the displacement of its inhabitants forcibly, in an attempt to obscure its identity and change its geography.

These attacks come in the context of the continuous escalation of the occupation forces in the city of Tulkarm and its camp, which resulted in the death of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of which is pregnant in the eighth month in addition to the injury and arrest of dozens, and a forced displacement of more than 24 thousand people from the two camps.

The aggression also caused a comprehensive damage that affected the infrastructure of water, electricity, sanitation and communications networks, homes, shops and vehicles that were subjected to total and partial demolition, burning, sabotage, looting and theft, in addition to closing the entrances to the two camps and tearing them with dirt berms.
