Algeria condemns the aggression of the occupation on Gaza and violated the ceasefire agreement – the seventh day

Algeria condemned the “strongest terms” of the occupation’s resumption of its brutal aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in a “blatant” violation of the ceasefire agreement signed last January.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Algerian community abroad and African affairs said -in a statement reported by the Algerian News Agency, on Tuesday, that “while the international group was optimistic about stabilizing the ceasefire in Gaza, lifting the suffering of the Palestinian people and launching the reconstruction efforts in this Palestinian land, the resumption of this aggression is ravaging all these hopes and re -introducing the region into the cycle of killing, starving and depriving the most basic ways of living and survival.”

Algeria called on the Security Council to assume the responsibilities assigned to it under the provisions of the United Nations Charter in order to ensure respect for the existing force in the occupation of the ceasefire agreement in its various contents and through all its stages.

Algeria also reaffirmed its absolute solidarity with the Palestinian people and its permanent standing alongside it until the completion of its national project and the establishment of its independent state and its capital, Al -Quds Al -Sharif.
