The European Union spokesman in Palestine expressed its deep concern about the ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, stressing that these practices imposed a bitter reality mainly reflected on the life of the residents of the Strip.
He pointed out that the resumption of Israeli air strikes resulted in hundreds of civilian victims, including children and women, which increases the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis in the region.

In this context, the European Union expressed its deep regret for Israel’s violation of the ceasefire and the resumption of attacks that killed hundreds of people in the Gaza Strip. The Union called on Israel to restrain and allow the introduction of humanitarian aid to Gaza, stressing the need to respect international humanitarian law and protect civilians.
For its part, the European Commissioner for Equality, Preparation and Crisis Management, a need for Habib, affirmed that the tension escalated again in Gaza is a devastating matter, noting that civilians suffered the suffering of the description, and that this violence must be stopped immediately.
