The Israeli opposition is allied with the president of the “Shin Bet” against Netanyahu’s endeavor to dismiss him – the seventh day

The “Yish Atid” parties, the “National Camp”, “Israel Our Home”, and the Democratic Party, today, Monday, submitted a warning message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the government’s judicial advisor, before submitting a petition against Netanyahu’s decision to initiate the procedures for dismissing the head of the Public Security Service (the Shin Bet), Ronin Bar.

In the joint letter reported by the Israeli Channel Seventh, the decision to initiate the dismissal procedures was made in a violation of the law, as a result of the conflict of serious interests by the Prime Minister.

In the letter, the opposition parties added that this decision was taken as a result of dangerous interests on the part of the Prime Minister, and all facts indicate that the decision was based on external considerations, linked, among other matters, to achieve the General Security Agency with the employees of the Prime Minister’s office.

The parties indicated that the Prime Minister’s statement shows that the decision was taken without any concrete and clear basis to justify this bold and controversial step.

The opposition parties also explained that “this represents a clear abuse of governmental authority, and that the considerations on which the decision are based are strange and false considerations, and clearly contradicts the considerations that conduct the work of the Israeli Public Security Agency in accordance with the law.”

The letter concluded by saying: “As long as the dismissal procedures are continuing, and a government decision will be offered to implement the Prime Minister’s decision, so the factions will submit a petition to the Supreme Court of Justice.”
