The President of the Yemeni Command Council meets with the higher “security committee” – the seventh day

The Chairman of the Presidential Command Council in Yemen, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al -Alimi, held today /Sunday, a meeting of the Supreme Security Committee, in light of the developments of the national situation, regional and international changes, where he discussed security measures taken in airports, ports and land ports in the context of combating terrorism, smuggling, organized crime, and maintaining security and stability.

The President of the Presidential Command Council urged – during the meeting, according to the Yemeni News Agency (Sabaan) today – the military and security establishment and intelligence agencies to double security precautions, including monitoring the movements of the sleeping cells of the “Houthi terrorist militia” and the terrorist organizations with them, and providing the necessary protection for national and international organizations and institutions in the temporary capital, and liberated governorates.

The meeting listened to the surroundings of the defense and interior ministers, the heads of the relevant agencies on the military and security position, the efforts made to enhance security and stability in the temporary capital of Aden and the liberated governorates, and the policies approved to confront terrorist threats, and raise the efficiency of the devices concerned at all levels.

The meeting included: Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al -Daari, members of the Committee, Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, Chairman of the National Security Agency, Major General Ahmed Al -Musabi, Chairman of the Military Intelligence and Military Reconnaissance Authority, Major General Ahmed Al -Yafii, the Deputy of the Political Security Agency, Major General Nour El -Din Al -Yami, and the decision of the Supreme Security Committee, Major General Abdel -Hakim Shaif.

The meeting also discussed the procedures for dealing with the decision to classify the Houthi militias, a foreign terrorist organization, and the efforts coordinated with the international community under the National Defense Council Resolution to dry up the sources of arming and financing terrorist militias, and deterring their destabilizing practices of local stability opportunities, international peace and security.
