Director of Al -Shifa Hospital in Gaza: The bodies of the martyrs were transferred to appropriate graves in order to preserve their dignity – the seventh day

The director of Al -Shifa Hospital in Gaza, Dr. Muhammad Abu Salmiya, announced the start of the process of moving the bodies of the martyrs from the hospital squares to graves worthy of them, in order to preserve their dignity in light of the difficult circumstances the city is going through.

Abu Salma said in a special statement to (Extra News) today, Sunday, that “there is an urgent need for the land filled with the bodies, in order to use them to establish field hospitals after the Al -Shifa Medical Complex was completely destroyed as a result of the Israeli aggression.”

He stressed that this decision came in coordination with the competent authorities in Gaza City … noting the importance of providing all the necessary ways to accommodate the patients, and said: “We urgently need every bed inside this complex, and we have taken this step to ensure that there are places and tombs worthy of our martyrs.”

The Palestinian civil defense teams announced that dozens of bodies were recovered from the squares of Al -Shifa Hospital, which was used as a mass grave to the victims of the Israeli aggression during the suffocating siege imposed on the medical complex in the war.
