Bahrain launches the first artificial moon .. “Al -Mundhir” – the seventh day

The Kingdom of Bahrain announced the launch of the first Bahraini satellite “Al -Mundhir”, in the first Bahraini achievement in the field of space, and it was designed and developed with Bahraini hands, while it is fully managed inside the Kingdom through the National Authority for Space Sciences, while benefiting from regional and international experiences to ensure its implementation of the highest standards, according to the Bahrain News Agency.

This satellite satellite is a nanoscopic category, as it was provided with data analysis and processing capabilities, and was equipped with a medium -resolution spacecraft, dedicated to taking pictures of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its territorial waters, for use in environmental and agricultural studies, monitoring urban changes, and coastal control.

The ability of this moon to analyze satellite images directly using artificial intelligence is a feature that makes it the first of its kind in the region, where the software classifies and processed images, which improves the efficiency of communication between the satellite and the terrestrial station.
