UNRWA: We opened 130 temporary headquarters in Gaza to teach about 47 thousand children – the seventh day

UNRWA has said that it has opened 130 temporary educational headquarters in Gaza, allowing direct learning of 47,000 children throughout the sector.

A statement issued by UNRWA Commissioner Philip Lazarini -on his account on the “X” platform today, Saturday, stated that UNRWA is still the largest provider of learning services in emergency and psychological and social support in Gaza. He stressed that education returns to the children of Gaza for some hope and helps them recover, pointing to the role of education in overcoming the indescribable shocks that children suffer.

“We have a long way to cut it to encourage more and more children to learn,” said UNRWA Commissioner Philip Lazarini. He added that the challenges in Gaza are great, and there is no time to waste, our goal is to avoid a lost generation of Palestinian children.
