The martyrdom of 5 Palestinians, including two journalists, was shot by the Israeli occupation in Beit Lahia – the seventh day

Five Palestinians, including two journalists, were martyred today, Saturday, in the occupation targeting a group of citizens in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported, quoting local sources, that a plane driving the occupation targeted a group of Palestinians in Beit Lahia with bullets, which led to the martyrdom of five Palestinians, including two journalists.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of the young Omar Ashtia, after the occupation was shot during the storming of the town, which led to his head, and described his injury as a critical, and he was subsequently transferred to the hospital, before announcing his martyrdom.

On the other hand, the occupation forces stormed the village of the perpetrator, west of Ramallah, and fired live bullets, bombs, and tear -poisonous gas, without reporting injuries, according to local sources.

It is mentioned that the occupation forces stormed villages and towns in Ramallah, namely: the western farm, Beit Sira, Betonia, and Tarmasia.

In another context, the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy launched an urgent appeal to the United Nations and the countries of the world and its peoples to pressure the Israeli occupation government to immediately stop its use of hunger and deprivation as one of the tools of war against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip.

The call came, on the occasion of the International Consumer Rights Day, which falls today, March 15th, which was approved by the United Nations since 1983, and this year comes under the slogan “sustainable lifestyles”.

The ministry affirmed that Israel prevents the entry of the basic needs of Gaza, amid the collapse of the humanitarian situation, the blockade and the restriction of the movement in the West Bank, in addition to the displacement of thousands. She stressed the need for the international community to respect the laws that guarantee the basic rights of citizens at the time of wars, accusing Israel of ignoring these laws.
