Watch .. The Sultanate of Oman celebrations of the night of Ramadan – the seventh day

In a delightful atmosphere, the Sultanate of Oman celebrated the night of the month of Ramadan, which is one of the most prominent customs inherited across generations in Oman, which is known as “Qargashoh” to draw joy on the faces of children, reward them and encourage them to fast, as well as achieve and enhance social communication and instill in them.

The celebrations were launched as “Al -Qargashoh” – which is mostly prevailing, while in some states “Al -Qarqaan” – it is called in a number of states of the Sultanate of Oman, which is the common name for some Gulf countries.

The children went out wearing the Omani heritage clothes in groups to visit homes and transport through the lanes, as they sought popular songs inspired by the authentic Omani heritage and are received by homeowners with sweets and gifts.

The celebration of the “Qargashoh” comes in the interest of reviving ancient Omani customs and teaching children the importance of Omani heritage and preserving it generation after generation.

As for the gifts distributed to children on this occasion, the gifts of “Qargashoh” were called only to distribute dates only, and with the passage of time different types of gifts such as sweets, nuts and games were added to them.
