A Palestinian youth was also wounded by the occupation forces, during the storming of the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that a 18 -year -old young man was shot by the live occupation in the thigh in the town of Beta, and he was transferred to the hospital.

According to local sources, the occupation forces stormed several military vehicles, which led to the outbreak of confrontations, during which the occupation soldiers fired bullets towards the young men, which led to a young man with live bullets in the thigh.

Earlier, the young Omar Abdel -Hakim Dawood, 21, was martyred as a result of his critical injury by the occupation forces in the head, while storming the village of Salem, east of Nablus.
Local sources said that the occupation forces fired directly towards the young Shabwah, while he was standing in front of a shop in the village.

On the other hand, the World Food Program said – in a statement today – that he was unable to transfer any food supplies to the Gaza Strip since the second of March as a result of the closure of the Israeli occupation of all border crossings in front of humanitarian and commercial supplies.

At the beginning of this month, Israel, the occupying force, returned to the closure of all the crossings leading to Gaza to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid.

The UN program explained that the prices of commercial foodstuffs have been increasing since the closure of the crossings, as the prices of some basic materials such as flour, sugar and vegetables increased by more than 200 percent, according to the “United Nations News” website.
The program indicated that some local merchants began withholding goods due to uncertainty about the arrival of new supplies.

He stated that he currently has sufficient food stocks to support kitchens and bakeries operating in the sector for a period of up to a month, in addition to ready -to -eat food parcels to support 550 thousand people for two weeks.

The UN program said that it currently supports 33 kitchen across Gaza, which offers a total of 180,000 hot meals per day. The program also supports 25 bakery, but on March 8, 6 bakeries were forced to close due to a lack of cooking gas.

The program also has about 63 thousand metric tons of foodstuffs heading to Gaza, and this is equivalent to distributions for two to three months for 1.1 million people, pending obtaining permission to enter Gaza, according to the United Nations.

The World Food Program explained that he had delivered more than 40,000 metric tons of food to Gaza and provided life -saving aid to 1.3 million people, during the ceasefire period in its first stage, which lasted 42 days starting from January 19. The program also provided more than 6.8 million dollars in the form of cash aid to support nearly 135 thousand people, which helped families buy the supplies that affect the need.

Since the seventh of October 2023, the Israeli occupation has committed a collective genocide in Gaza that has left more than 160,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14 thousand missing.
