The Iraqi Prime Minister confirms respect for the beliefs and sanctities of all groups of the Syrian people – the seventh day

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani stressed today, Friday, the importance of respecting the beliefs and sanctities of all groups and segments of the Syrian people.

This came during the Sudanese meeting, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al -Shaibani, according to a statement by his media office reported by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious).

During the meeting, it was also emphasized on the clear and fixed position of Iraq in respecting the options of the Syrian people, with all its components and spectrums, and keenness on the security and stability of Syria, which is reflected in the security and stability of the region.

The Iraqi Prime Minister said, “It is necessary to proceed with a comprehensive political process that preserves diversity and social peace, pointing to the need not to accept any attacks or violations that occur against any of the Syrian components.”

He stressed the importance of the Syrian Land Unit, and rejected all interference in the Syrian issue, especially with the control of the occupation army today on Syrian lands.

The Sudanese expressed Iraq’s readiness to contribute to supporting Syria and its reconstruction, providing all necessary facilities in this regard, and coordination to face the risks of terrorism to achieve stability supporting the reconstruction of Syria and working to confront sectarian discourse.

In addition, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al -Shaibani expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq in fighting the terrorist organization (ISIS), pointing out that the strong partnership between Iraq and Syria will contribute to building the region.

Al -Shaibani said – in a joint press conference with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein in Baghdad, that the Syrian government is serious in strengthening relationship ties with Iraq and enhancing trade exchange between the two countries.

He continued: “Syria and Iraq must cooperate to reject any interference of any external forces in the internal affairs of the two countries.”
