In its weekly meeting, headed by the Prime Minister, Sheikh Fahd Al -Youssef, the Council of Ministers in Kuwait, the Cabinet, decided to disrupt work in all ministries, government agencies, bodies and public institutions three days as an official holiday on the occasion of Eid Al -Fitr in the event that it is proven that the first day of the holiday is on Sunday 30 March, provided that the official working hours will be resumed on Wednesday 2 April. According to “Kuwaiti News”.
The council also decided that if it is proven that the first days of Eid Al -Fitr is on Monday, March 31, the holiday will be on Sunday 30 March (as the complement to the month of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH) and March 21, Tuesday, April 1, Wednesday, April 2, and Thursday, April 3 (as a day of rest due to its occurrence between two holidays), provided that the official working hours will be resumed on Sunday 6 April.

In its decision, the council indicated that the devices of the private work nature will determine their vacation with the knowledge of the authorities concerned with their affairs to take into account the public interest.
