The Saudi era and Putin are reviewing “efforts to solve the Ukrainian crisis” – the seventh day

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, reviewed “efforts to solve the Ukrainian crisis”, in addition to “the existing areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop it,” according to the Saudi Press Agency “SPA”, Friday.

The Saudi Crown Prince stressed, “The Kingdom’s keenness to make all good endeavors to facilitate the dialogue, and everything that leads to a political solution to the crisis in Ukraine,” while Putin renewed “his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom for its constructive efforts and good endeavors,” according to “SPA”.

A statement by the Kremlin stated that Putin “strongly praised the efforts of Saudi Arabia,” and thanked it for “creating the conditions favorable to hold negotiations between representatives of Russia and the United States in Riyadh on February 18.”

The Kremlin added that Putin and Prince Muhammad bin Salman “expressed their satisfaction with the higher level of Russian -Saudi cooperation, and confirmed their commitment to continuing to develop it in a friendly and constructive manner.”

He pointed to “discussing the current issues of Russian -Saudi cooperation in the framework of OPEC Plus”, where “the importance of this unique form was stressed to ensure the stability of the global oil market and maintain the balance between supply and demand, in a way that serves the interests of producers and consumers of raw materials alike.”

The Kremlin stated that “Russia and the Kingdom’s commitment to compliance with the obligations they pledged in the OPEC Plus framework has been emphasized.”
