Palestinian welcoming and Israeli rejection of the results of a native investigation into the genocide in Gaza – the seventh day

Today, Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Hamas welcomed a United Nations report, confirming that Israel committed a genocide against Palestinians in the occupied territories.

Today, Thursday, an investigation of the United Nations concluded that Israel committed extermination in the Gaza Strip through the systematic destruction of reproductive health care facilities.

The United Nations Investigation Committee reported that Israel has intentionally attacked the main fertility center in the Palestinian sector, and imposed a siege simultaneously, and prevented aid, including the necessary medicines to ensure the safety of pregnancy, childbirth and child care.

In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for the protection of the committee and ensuring its continued work, away from any political pressures or attempts to question its credibility, stressing that “the suffering incurred by our people, women, men and children, is an unacceptable suffering, and it cannot be condoned, and the perpetrators must be held accountable and held accountable.”

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that “the results concluded by the report reflect the reality of the crimes and violations that the Palestinian people were exposed to since the Nakba, which exceeded the limits of possibility.”

It also refused to “any attempts to undermine or obstruct the committee’s work,” considering that these attempts aim to “grant immunity to Israel from accountability and enhance the policy of impunity, which is a complicity in the crime of genocide.”

The Foreign Ministry called on all countries, international organizations and civil society institutions to “support the independent international investigation committee and its mandate, implement its recommendations, put an end to the policy of impunity that Israel enjoys, and ensuring protection and justice for victims from our people.”

In turn, Hamas considered that the international report confirms that Israel committed a “genocide” in Gaza.

“The report confirms the genocide and violations that obtained on the ground for all human and legal standards,” Hamas spokesman told the French Press Agency, stressing that “the need to accelerate the trial of the occupation leaders on these crimes and the speed of their trial in the International Criminal Court.”
For its part, Israel accused the committee of passing a “biased and predetermined political agenda … in a rude attempt to criminalize the Israeli defense forces.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the results of the report, describing it as biased and anti -Semitic. “Instead of focusing on crimes against humanity and war crimes committed by the terrorist organization Hamas … the United Nations chooses again to attack the State of Israel with false accusations,” he said in a statement.

According to the UN report, Israel has increasingly resorted to the use of sexual and reproductive violence and other forms of socially -based violence against the Palestinians.

“Israel) also committed genocide through the systematic destruction of sexual and reproductive health care facilities”, “in the context of broader efforts to undermine their right (Palestinians) to self -determination,” according to the report.

The report documents “a wide range of violations against women, men, girls and Palestinian boys throughout the occupied land since October 7, 2023.”
The issuance of the report was accompanied by two days of general listening sessions in Geneva on March 11 and 12, during which the committee heard victims and witnesses of sexual and reproductive violence and members of the medical staff who helped them, in addition to representatives of civil society, academics, lawyers and medical experts.
The report accused the Israeli occupation forces of using forced public erosion and sexual assault in the context of the regular measures to carry out operations to punish the Palestinians after the Al -Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, 2023.
