Israeli police arrest 23 workers from the West Bank in Tiberia – the seventh day

The Israeli police arrested 23 Palestinian workers from the West Bank, in the city of Tiberias inside the lands of 48, on the pretext of “their stay without permits”, and a young man from the town of Kafr Kanna “was carrying them with his vehicle,” according to its claim.

In recent weeks, hundreds of Palestinian workers have been arrested and abused by the Israeli police, under the pretext of not having permits, according to the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”, today, Thursday.

Palestinian workers who hold permits when they go to their workplaces, as their day begins in a very early hour before dawn, waiting for hours at the military occupation barriers, and undergoing them with abuse searches, before continuing their way to the workplace.

It is noteworthy that about 150,000 workers from the West Bank have lost their work inside the lands of 48, due to the Israeli restrictions imposed on the arrival of workers to the workplace, since last October, according to a report by the World Bank.
