The Belarusian government pledged to provide the most advanced mining technologies to Libya, as well as other technologies developed in the field of agriculture and industry, during a visit by a Belarusian delegation to Benghazi headed by Deputy Prime Minister Victor Karankivic.

“We are working to define the work areas and the main goals that must be achieved quickly in the areas of mining, agriculture, food, security, training, emergency response, and others.”

He added: We are also working to determine what should be included in a road map for cooperation in the future, and the naming of the organizations responsible for carrying out these tasks. We will work hard for the coming weeks to put work algorithms, and we may also work through possible contracts. “

The visit witnessed the signing of memoranda of understanding, which included the sectors of agriculture, food security, industry, health, geological exploration, education and human development.

The two parties understood to cooperate in the security field, maintain public order, and prevent natural disasters by exchanging the best experiences in the field of disaster prevention, response to emergency situations, training, and supply of preparations.

The Libyan and Belarusian sides also agreed to establish a joint communication group to coordinate cooperation and follow up the implementation of agreements concluded between the two countries.
