An exceptional summit for the “Ingandation” organization on the escalation of tensions in South Sudan – the seventh day

The activities of the forty -third extraordinary summit of heads of state and governments of the International Government Authority concerned with development (finding) were launched by default, as the leaders of the region gathered to deliberate on the latest developments in South Sudan.

Discussions focus on security and political stability and accelerate the implementation of the activated peace agreement, according to an official statement by the organization.

The Guessing Organization said it is committed to enhancing dialogue, eliminating tensions and ensuring permanent peace for the people of South Sudan.

In another context, the head of the outgoing African Union Commission, Mr. Musa Faki Mohamed, expressed his deep concern about the escalation of tensions and clashes in Nasser Province in the state of Upper Nile in the state of South Sudan, which included a deadly attack on a United Nations helicopter, violence in the western tropical and western Bahr al -Ghazal, all of which threaten the peace process.

The Chairman of the Commission strongly condemned this violent escalation, called on all parties to control the maximum extent, and called on the authorities to fully hold the perpetrators of violence and take rapid measures to protect citizens, according to an official statement from the African Union.
