The President of Iraq: Maintaining security and stability in the country is very important – the seventh day

The President of the Iraqi Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, said, “Our focus and interest are focused on maintaining security and stability in Iraq, which is extremely important,” said the President of the Iraqi Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.

“We respect all our neighbors, and we have good relations with them, and with all regional countries. We exchange visits, delegations from European countries and from countries beyond European countries – and from Asian countries, from Arab countries and from the Middle East countries, all of these come to Iraq and we send delegations to these countries. The time of conflicts has ended.

He explained that we have taken good measures inside Iraq, for example, the relationship between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the central government is good, and there is an exchange of views and exchange of delegations and visits on a daily basis, in addition to that, we focused on improving services, but it will take some time to improve all these services.

Rashid stressed that we are facing challenges, as the population, according to the last population in Iraq, has reached (46) million people. Of these (46) million, 60% were born after 2003. We have a large number of graduates, perhaps more than any other country; This is due to the number of universities and the academic life we have.

I continue to think that we can play an important role in the region. We have sought to bring the views between Iran and Saudi Arabia to bring them up and resume diplomatic relations between them, which reported everyone. We also submitted some proposals to Jordan and other countries.

He explained that Syria is an independent country and has a new administration or new rulers, and we hope that the Syrian government will reflect the will of the Syrian people, whether through elections or through the democratic steps that must be taken, and they should try to absorb all sectors of society, so that no one feels that they have been marginalized or not treated as an ordinary citizen, and that everyone is treated equally.

He concluded, “We encourage the American president to implement what he promised in order to preserve peace in the world, which cannot be easy without ending wars and conflicts, especially in our region.
