The Endowment Council and Churches of Jerusalem appreciate the positions of the Jordanian monarch on the Palestinian issue – the seventh day

The Director General of Endowments of Jerusalem and the Affairs of the Blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque, Vice -Chairman of the Jerusalem Endowments Council, Sheikh Muhammad Azzam Al -Khatib Al -Tamimi, valued the positions of the Jordanian King Abdullah II, who defended the rights of the nation and supporting the rights of the Palestinian people as the issue of the nation, pointing to the continuous support of the king of the Palestinian state, and his refusal to displace and resettle in any way.

This came during the reception of the Jordanian monarch, at the Husayniyah Palace, on Tuesday, representatives of the Endowments Councils and the Jerusalem churches and Jerusalem personalities, in the presence of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Patriarch Theovilus III, the Patriarch of Jerusalem and the other works of Palestine and Jordan, spoke about the importance of a role for the king as the owner of the Hashemite guardianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, adding that it is a great political and historical responsibility, and a trust with spiritual and civilized dimensions, protecting the fabric of the Holy Land and protecting its unique nature.

He warned of a strange phenomenon from the spirit of Christianity, which is represented in the so -called “Christian Zionism”, indicating that it is a movement that distracts the message of Christ, and devotes it to its spiritual essence to make it a tool for serving political agendas that are not related to Christian faith.
He pointed to the increasing attempts to impose restrictions on freedom of worship, reach the holy places, and the continued threat to subject the property of churches to the Israeli municipality tax.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian homes, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the role of Jordan, under the leadership of the king, in the care and preservation of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

The appreciation of King Abdullah II’s fixed and honorable positions towards the Palestinian issue, and supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people against attempts to displacement, stressing the importance of the Jordanian Palestinian brotherhood in facing displacement and Judaization projects.

In turn, the Patriarchal MP of the Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem expressed his honor to William Shomali, his thanks to the king for the care of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, according to the Hashemite guardianship over it, and for his humanitarian positions and continuous support to the Palestinian people.

He emphasized that the Catholic Church does not accept to beat the land of Palestine in the name of the Jewish people based on the Torah, as it claims “Christian Zionism” in America.

He praised the moral royal support of Palestine students, as the number of registered on the Palestinian Electronic Curriculum platform “Wise”, which was launched by the International Islamic Sciences University under royal directives, has increased for one million students, half a million of them in Gaza.

He reaffirmed that the people of Palestine are not accepted by an alternative homeland.

For his part, Professor Waqf, King Abdullah II, confirmed the chair of teaching the thought of Imam Al -Ghazali at Al -Quds University and the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque, Dr. Mustafa Abu Sawi that the Palestinians are stressing their support with the king’s determination and his insistence to confirm the people of Palestine in their land, and prevent their displacement from them.

He expressed the pride of the Palestinian people with the king, which is formed with the Palestinians and the free Arabs and the world is an impenetrable dam to confront obscurant and unjust proposals.

He pointed out that the Hashemite guardianship is an international legal expression and an extension of the age covenant that Al -Faruq Omar bin Al -Khattab, may God be pleased with him, has a clear history in preserving the Church of the Holy Sepulcher for Christians alone, as is the Al -Aqsa Mosque for Muslims alone, stressing that on the wealth of Jerusalem, what deserves Rabat, and for it the sacrifice of the Hashemite kings of the precious and precious.

The king held a breakfast banquet in honor of the attendees, while the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Jordanian Expatriate Affairs Ayman Al -Safadi, head of the Hashemite Royal Court, and a group of Jordanian officials.
