Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary -General of the League of Arab States, welcomed the hosting of Riyadh talks between the United States and Ukraine with the aim of finding a settlement leading to ending the Russian -Ukrainian war.
Jamal Rushdie, the spokesman for the Secretary -General, quoted Aboul Gheit as saying that the Kingdom’s hosting of these important talks reflects its influential role in the level of strengthening peace in the year, as well as the confidence of the parties in the Kingdom’s ability to play this role.
