Iraq records an earthquake north of Erbil with a power of 5.1 degrees – the seventh day

Iraq announced today, Tuesday, the record of an earthquake, north of Erbil, with a power of 5.1 degrees.

The Ministry of Transport stated – in a statement broadcast by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious) today – that the General Authority for Air Residence and Seismic Monitoring has recorded an earthquake near the Iraqi -Iranian -Turkish border, 45 km north of the city of Erbil with a force of (5.1) degrees and a depth of 10 km.

The statement added, “The earthquake occurred at 09:03 pm (Baghdad time), and it was clearly felt in the Kurdistan and Nineveh region.”
