Syria signs the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces into state institutions – the seventh day

The “midday” program, broadcast on the “Cairo News” channel, presented a television report entitled “Syria expects an agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces into state institutions”, where the report shed light on this agreement, which represents a serious step towards uniting the Syrian factions under one banner, in light of a detailed stage of Syrian history.

The agreement was signed by Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara and the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and aims to integrate all civil and military institutions of the Kurdish self -administration within the framework of the Syrian state, which enhances efforts to build a state that includes all Syrians.

The agreement included eight main items, the most prominent of which are: ensuring the rights of all Syrians to participate in the political process and in all state institutions based on efficiency, the ceasefire on all Syrian lands, the integration of civil and military institutions in northeastern Syria within the administration of the Syrian state, securing the return of all the displaced to their cities and villages and ensuring their protection, forming executive committees to implement the agreement, provided that the implementation takes place before the end of the current year.

This agreement comes in light of the escalating security challenges, especially with the exposure of the provinces of the Syrian coast to unprecedented security breakthroughs since the fall of the Assad regime, which prompted the Syrian administration to try to absorb all parties and build a new country based on the rule of law.

In addition to the internal challenges, Syria faces continuous external threats, especially the continuous Israeli aggression, as the Israeli occupation launched four air strikes on the Quneitra countryside, targeting leadership headquarters and military sites belonging to the Syrian government.

Observers believe that the success of this agreement will depend on the extent of the parties ’commitment to its application actually, and its ability to end the internal divisions and confront regional threats. Can new Syria overcome these obstacles and build a unified state capable of protecting its citizens and restoring its sovereignty?
