Arab condemnation of the occupation decision to cut off electricity from the Gaza Strip – the seventh day

Kuwait has strongly condemned and strongly condemned the continuous practices of the Israeli occupation forces and its implementation of the policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people, the most recent of which was cutting the electrical current in the Gaza Strip, violating this and still is the most basic rights and a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also condemned, in the strongest terms, the exercise of the Israeli occupation authorities methods of collective punishment for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, by cutting electricity from the Strip, rejecting its categorical rejection of Israeli violations of international humanitarian law.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed – in a statement today, Tuesday, according to the Saudi Press Agency “SPA” – that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is calling on the international community to take urgent measures to return electricity and the flow of aid to the Gaza Strip immediately without condition or registration, and renewed its call to activate international accounting mechanisms on these serious violations.

For its part, the Islamic World League condemned the strongest terms the decision of the Israeli occupation government to cut electricity from the Gaza Strip.

The Secretary -General of the Association, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al -Issa, expressed in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) today, Tuesday, his rejection of the continuous Israeli violations of all international and humanitarian laws and norms.

Al -Essa called on the international community to take immediate and firm measures towards these dangerous violations against innocent civilians in the sector, ensuring the return of electricity, and the flow of aid to the afflicted sector.
