Sharia: Syria is a state of law and bloodshed will not pass without accountability – the seventh day

Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara said that the mass killings of members of the Alawite sect pose a threat to his mission to unite the country, and promised to punish those responsible for it, including his allies if necessary.

After the killing of hundreds in 4 days of clashes in the Syrian coast region, Sharia blamed the “foreigner -backed” groups in igniting the bloodshed, but acknowledged that reprisals were followed.

According to Sky News, he said, “Syria is a state of law. The law will take its course with everyone.”

Al -Shara added: “We fought to defend the oppressed, and we will not accept that any blood is unjust or pass without punishment or accountability even if it is the closest to us.”

While he blamed the outbreak of violence in recent days on a previous military unit loyal to the Assad brother and a foreign force that he did not specify, he acknowledged that he in response to this, “many parties entered the Syrian coast, and many violations occurred.”

He considered that the matter “has become an opportunity to take revenge” for years of pent -up grievances, although he said that the situation has been largely contained since then.

Al -Sharaa stated that 200 members of the security forces were killed in the violence of the Syrian coast, while the total number of deaths was refused to disclose an independent committee announced on Sunday.
