The head of the transitional phase in Syria, Ahmed Al -Shara, said that the events in Syria will affect the march, continuing: “We will restore the situation as much as we can.”
Al -Shara added: “There is no direct contact yet with the Trump administration, but our door is open to communication, and we cannot control security in the country and US sanctions are continuing,” noting that the talks are underway with Moscow on new conditions for military bases.
