The Sudan Doctors ’Network revealed, in a statement, that the Rapid Support Forces carried out an attack on Al -Khawi in West Kordofan, killing 7 people, including a child, and wounding 13 others.

Witnesses reported that the Rapid Support Forces attacked the town with about 35 combat vehicles and dozens of motorcycles, and indicated that the force looted most of the main market stores and some houses, and was looted about 9 vehicles and burned one of the homes of the citizens who tried to confront a group that raided his house.
The Sudan Doctors Network said in its statement: “We regret the killings and looting practiced by rapid support on safe areas that have no military manifestations,” and considered what the forces in the region did a clear encroachment on civilians and deliberately killing, especially since among the dead is a child who is only 10 years old.
She emphasized that the continuation of the killings and displacement practiced by rapid support in cities that embrace thousands of civilians represent violations that are incompatible with all human and international laws and express the chaos practiced by these forces.
The situation in the Kordofan region is heading towards further escalation, after the Sudanese army managed during the past weeks to end the siege of the city of Al -Abyad, the capital of North Kordofan State.
Rapid support has repeatedly attacked the town on the national road linking the Kordofan and Darfur provinces, resulting in dozens of civilian casualties.
