And the “kisses” historically are related to one of the most prominent events of Islamic history, which is the change of the qiblah to the Sacred House of God, when the Prophet Muhammad – may God bless him and grant him peace – realized the noon prayer in the position of the mosque, and the revelation came upon him during his prayers, in the Almighty saying: So, your face is the waters of the mosque, the forbidden, and where you were not.
The Al -Qibtin Mosque witnesses construction and constructive work for its expansion, the development of its facilities and the increase in its capacity to reach 3 thousand worshipers, and the project includes the addition of many services, the construction of a cultural center attached to the mosque, the creation of external areas of pedestrians, the installation of electrical stairs, and elevators to serve the worshipers, to facilitate the movement between the mosque and the upper external squares, and the arrival of pedestrians to the surrounding roads on both sides of the mosque, To serve its visitors throughout the year, within a project aimed at deepening and enriching the experience of the guests of Rahman from pilgrims and pilgrims.
The northeastern squares of the mosque were opened within the project of the Civil Civilization Center, and the squares were provided with cooling fans to ensure a comfortable atmosphere during the visit, as well as umbrellas to protect visitors from the sun, as well as electric stairs to facilitate movement inside the squares, in addition to new situations to facilitate access to the mosque.
